Notes on Hamlet
The beginning of act 3 started off when Hamlet was putting on the play for the king. Which I found interesting because he had made it known he was goin to take revenge for his fathers murder. However, I was surprised that the king stopped the play and actually felt guilt for his doings. I had believd he wouldn't have conscious for what he had done because he had murdered his brother with no regrets. Which turned out to prove me wrong. As the act goes on Hamlet kills Polonius because he had over heard his talk with his mother and took no guilt in this. Which I believe he was flustered with taking revenge that killing Polonius to him was only the start of his vengance. While he is speaking with his mother the ghost appears and is only visible to Hamlet. In which I believe it is inteded to show that the ghost only appears to those who has intended a message or of importance. The ghost presents himself many times to Hamlet now and Hamlet takes trust in what the ghost has told him because of the reaction Cladius had to the play. In this which will lead Hamlet to profil his revenge and take action against his father's murder.
Who was Shakespeare

Even though Shakespeare's works are widely known there isn't much information about him to be found. He was born in the year 1564 which we know because of his baptism record which was on April, the 26th. There is no actual facts of the date of irthdate but can be assumed from the baptism record. Mary and John are the name of his parents and having had seven children in which only four survived adulthood. Shakespeare's father John, was a town official of stratford and local businessman. Shakespeare's mother inherited most of land for farming. We don't know for a fact that William attended school but do assume he attended a school nearby. He had three children and his only son died at a young age. Shakespreare's first works were published but he hadn't intended for them to be. The first of his works which he had approved on publishing was"The Passionate Pilgrim". It is believed he left his family for twenty years inot the pursue of his craft in London. At age 15 William purchased an expensive land named The New Place which was believed he paid for since his parents didnt leave anything for him to inherit. William wrote 37 plays and 164 sonnets. Most of his life however is a mystery not unfolded. Most of his works and plays are disputed and having no agreement on its true meanings. However, we do know that at age 18 he married Anne Hathaway, the daughter ofa farmer of a nearby town. He died in the year 1616 at the age of 52.
What students have the most difficulty in Shakespeare's works are the language that is used and the different meanings and symbols that each play portrays to an individual. Everyone interprets his works differently because we can't interview him aand ask what the true purpose of his works were.
In the beginning I was afraid to start reading Shakespeare's works because I couldn't understand what he was trying to get through. It was frustrsting looking at the book and rereading it for several minutes before i got the slightest clue about what he was trying to say. Now im more at ease with reading his work such as Hamlet because I know there isn't just one way to interpret his work and that I can have a totally different concept from the script. The language used still confuses me but I can infer much of how the words would be used now.

To Facebook or not to facebook
The article about facebook was not at all what I expected it would be about. I had assumed it would only point out the positive effects of its use and how it has influenced our community in positive ways. What I did find surprising however was such negative impacts that it is having on young children and in the risks they are being put under. Facebook I believe isn't meant for children who aren't conscious of what the outcomes of posting pictures or statuses on facebook. These children should have protection rights and Zuckerberg shouldn't deny children of this protection. The one good outcome i found from facebook was the facilitation of finding lost friends and being able to keep up with what's going on in the world.
In search of
1. What I found intresting in the video was that we are categorized and selected to see different information online. Each person can type in the same phrase or word and get totally different searches.
2.This whole thing with being categorized into groups and not being able to see outside our bubble makes me wonder what else is there out there that we can not see because it is blocked to us. What different information or how acurate ours is compared to others.
3.My one question would be if there is any way that we can see beyong our bubble or what actions can we take to see beyond our bubble.
4.I would say to an improve a search try different computers and try other resources not just the web such as newspapers or books.
I redid the search by using different terms and key words and searching many different web sites to try and find the most accurate information about shakespeare.
New Information:
Shakspere at best had only a grammar school education, and he is not known to have traveled beyond Stratford and London. He probably left the capital in his early to middle 40s, when his writing career presumably would have been at its zenith, and returned to the humdrum life of a provincial grain and property dealer. How, say skeptics, could he have accumulated the vast knowledge of royalty, court life, politics, and foreign lands–particularly of Italy, where several plays are set–woven through such a sophisticated body of work? Whoever wrote the plays and sonnets had a rare breadth of knowledge in numerous disciplines, including physical sciences, medicine, the law, astronomy, and the Bible.
. Shakspere died in obscurity and was buried anonymouslyGrain man. Shakspere died in obscurity and was buried anonymously. Six years after his death in 1616, the first edition of Henry Peacham's The Compleat Gentleman was published, listing the Elizabethan era's greatest poets. Heading the list: Edward de Vere, the Earl of Oxford. In this and three succeeding editions, there is no mention of Shakespeare by any spelling. Eighteen years after Shakspere's death, an engraved monument in a Stratford church shows him holding what appears to be a sack of grain. A century later, the sack became pen and paper

"His mind was crowded with memories; memories of the knowledge that had come to them when they closed in on the struggling pig, knowledge that they had outwitted a living thing, imposed their will upon it, taken away its life like a long satisfying drink."
"What I mean is . . . maybe it’s only us”
“There isn’t anyone to help you. Only me. And I’m the Beast. . . . Fancy thinking the Beast was something you could hunt and kill! . . . You knew, didn’t you? I’m part of you? Close, close, close! I’m the reason why it’s no go? Why things are the way they are?”
"Ralph wept for the end of innocence, the darkness of man’s heart, and the fall through the air of a true, wise friend called Piggy."
